The entire game functions as one giant cash grab from EA. Want to level up your character? Give us your money! Want to explore a new stage? Give us your money! Want to upgrade a cosmetic piece? Give us your money! Want to watch a cutscene? Give us your fucking money! The single player campaign is not only brutally short, but you mainly have to pay EA to get enough missions to make it longer. The sadism of this concept defies all logic and belief, this game's microtransactions exceed the borders of regular games into malignant cancer upon gamers.
Every single thing you do in Star Wars Battlefront II is determined by how much money your willing to shell out, not your level of skill! You cannot enjoy a game's excellent graphics or solid gameplay when you're paying out the ass just to bring the games feature levels above bare bones if you're not willing to fork out cash. You get default dull Star Wars troopers and must pay premiums to play as Star Wars favorites such as Luke Skywalker or Darth Vader.
Free to play mobile games have fewer microtransactions than Star Wars Battlefront II. All the upgrades are tied to luck, randomized loot drops, and the amount of money you shell out, therefore all skill is removed, not to mention all of the fun! Either grind for hours to get pointless content, or shell out money to EA! It should become renamed Star Wars: Microtransactions because this is 98% of the game, and why this game despite DICE's best efforts absolutely sucks balls. Thanks, EA...fuck you.
