Far Cry 5 is shaping up to release as an incredible sequel! A cult of right-wing religious fundamentalists willing to murder innocents for converts have taken over a small continent, and it's up to your fully-armed protagonist to shoot your way back to "equal opportunities" for all! The game will run in native 4K resolution, and features Rambo style massive arsenals of weaponry! The gunplay is not only diverse and enjoyable, but every environmental location will be destructive thanks to the advanced CryEngine!
The game may not be the most original release, but sometimes you shouldn't fix what isn't broken! Far Cry 5 goes back to basics while letting you destroy entire sandboxes with ease. Every object can become used as cover, so you can get intentive using dead bodies as meat shields or run your truck through a building Commando style to execute criminal leaders.
The only real complaint is that Far Cry 5 does little to innovate on previous iterations. Yet if the gameplay is solid enough, it can stand as a foundation if the game developer is willing to expand and diversify both locations and weapons.
